Lovely 700 sq ft newly renovated house available by week or month when available. It is in a secure complex in Colonia Allende which is a 20 minute walk or 10 min. bus ride to the Centro. The bus is two blocks away, and taxis are inexpensive, and plentiful. The house has a nice private patio with a table and chairs, is quiet, and is on the ground floor surrounded by greenery and fountains. There is a on site manager, and the people working there are wonderfully helpful. There is also a private parking space in this gated complex.

The appliances are brand new, and include a washer/dryer, new stove, refrigerator, and microwave. There is a Vonage phone(free calls to U.S.), and a prepaid local phone. We have a king size bed which can be separated into two single beds. There is a new desktop computer, and wireless Internet. There is a Cable TV(CNN& BBC), a CD player, and a DVD player. We have many CDs and books. The house is very comfortable with two fireplaces.(One just made by a local sculptor.) It is well stocked with new linens, dishes, pots and pans, etc. Housekeeping service is available for a small charge, as well as purified water.

The house rents for $900 a month or $400 a week, plus a security deposit which will be returned by the manager when you leave. Pets are sometimes accepted. The weather is wonderful during these months. It is warm during the day, and a little cooler in the evening..
San Miguel is a beautiful old colonial town with a 10% ex-pat population. English is spoken in many restaurants, and tourist attractions. San Miguel is known for its wonderful crafts, and is a serious art center. San Miguel is a one hour drive from Leon airport. The house is available from November 24th thru Jan.19th(some flexibility).
