This is a luxurious, bright, colorful and large, new home in the extraordinary town of San Miguel De Allende, Mexico in the state of Guanajuato. It is a wonderful accommodation for 6 people. The house features a water purification system making all water in the house drinkable.
There are three large private bedrooms one with king-sized bed and two queen-sized beds. All have gas fireplaces, private en suite baths and beautiful authentic Mexican furnishings. The master bedroom has a small flat screen TV. The master bedroom also has lovely views and a small, private terrace. The second bedroom has direct access to one of the home’s stone patios. Between the master bedroom and the third bedroom is an additional fully furnished, comfortable, large sitting room, the blue room.
The living areas are huge open spaces and very elegantly and comfortably furnished. The home’s main living room has a large sofa, two upholstered chairs, a built-in mesquite bar with comfortable padded bar stools. The living room also features a huge gas fireplace and an excellent sound system with CD payer, radio and Ipod dock.
In the elegant dining room with a wonderful view of the lake, the hand-carved mesquite table can seat 8 people comfortably. The kitchen is fully equiped with a six-burner stove/oven, modern refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispenser, microwave oven and all necessary cookware and features granite countertops and oak cabinetry. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer in the lower level of the house. In addition to the full baths in each of the three bedrooms, there are two half baths, one on the main level and the other on the lower level.
In the lower level of the house there is a fully equiped media room which has pool table, a 72” projector screen TV with surround sound and DVD/CD player.
The home has three lovely outdoor heavily planted patios including one extremely large rooftop deck with stunning views of mountains, lakes and of the town of San Miguel. The rooftop deck has a sitting area, dining area and outdoor grill, as well as a private walkway to the pool and jacuzzi which are shared by the other 13 homes in this private community.
There is a Vonage phone line with free calling to all of the United States and wireless cable Internet service as well as cable TV.
There is full time cook/maid 9:00 AM-3:00 PM Monday-Friday. At no extra charge she will prepare your meals and do your laundry pending time in her day. Overtime hours and/or additional staff are available on request and for a fee. Guests are responsible for the cost of food, ingredients and other comestibles. The home’s gardener meticuliously maintains the lush plantings and colorful flowers throughout the outdoor areas.
It is about a 15 minute walk to the Jardin in the center of town. Taxis and busses are also easily accessible and about a 2-5 minute ride to the Jardin.
